At this point, I'm still not entirely sure what my "place" should be for my twittereive. I'm thinking about basing it around family. My family isn't the "traditional" family, but it works for us..now. About two years ago, my parents made the decision that they weren't a happy married couple. My Dad bought his own house and moved out. It was really hard for me to make the adjustment; it wasn't easy to adapt to my Dad not being there. To make matters worse, my sister and Dad didn't have a relationship with one another. This added pressure because my sister would get upset if I went to spend time with my Dad. In her mind it was like I was choosing him over her? However, I managed to make my way through the rough patch, and everything has played out nicely. My Mom and Dad are now friends, and even my sister has started spending more time with him. We are our own unique family now.
